Terms and Conditions

Governing the use of the FarHub website, dashboard, and related services.

1.Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or otherwise accessing FarHub (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the Service.

These Terms are entered into between you and FarHub (“we”, “us”, “FarHub”).

2.Description of Service

FarHub provides an authenticated dashboard for study and reference, including a glossary of terms and related learning tools. The Service is currently offered free of charge, with no paid tiers or billing obligations.

We may add, change, or remove features at any time without prior notice.

3.Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you meet this requirement.

4.Accounts and Security

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notify us immediately at the contact address below if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
  • We store your password as a one-way hash and never as plain text; we will never ask you for your password by email or message.

5.Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to another user’s account or to any part of the Service not intended for you;
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the Service’s infrastructure;
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell access to the Service without our written permission;
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria or any applicable jurisdiction.

6.Intellectual Property

The Service, including its glossary content, design, and underlying software, is owned by FarHub or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use it for personal, non-commercial study purposes only, and may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from it without our prior written consent.

7.Privacy and Data Protection

We collect the minimum personal data needed to operate your account — your email address, a hashed password, and session information used to keep you signed in. We do not sell your personal data.

We process personal data in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.

8.Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, without liability to you, and will make reasonable efforts to notify you of the reason.

9.Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.

10.Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FarHub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Because the Service is provided free of charge, our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed ₦50,000 (fifty thousand naira).

11.Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where practical, notify you through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12.Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria, unless the parties agree in writing to resolve the dispute by arbitration under the Arbitration and Mediation Act 2023.

13.Miscellaneous

  • Severability — if any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
  • Entire agreement — these Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and FarHub regarding the Service, superseding any prior agreements.
  • No waiver — our failure to enforce any right under these Terms is not a waiver of that right.

Questions about these Terms can be sent to aoubah@gmail.com.
